How does BlitzTables work?
Here you’ll find how the app works, step by step, with the screen to match. Search for a word, or pick a topic below.
Getting started
- Getting started with BlitzTablesDownload BlitzTables, create a first profile and choose the right school. No account, no email address, and ready in a couple of minutes.
- More than one child on one deviceAdd a second child, switch between children, edit or delete a profile, and bring back a deleted profile within 30 days.
Practising and playing
- Learning and practisingThe difference between Learn and Practice in BlitzTables, how to choose the tables and the number of sums, and what happens after a wrong answer.
- Tricky sumsWith Tricky sums, BlitzTables picks the sums your child doesn’t know well yet. How it works, where to find it, and why it sometimes isn’t ready yet.
- Timed tests and diplomasHow a timed test works, which diplomas there are, what your child needs to pass, and how to share an earned diploma. Plus what’s free.
- A duel for twoHow to play a duel in BlitzTables: two children facing each other on one device, the same sums, and who gets to twenty first?
- Progress and the grid of sumsWhat’s on the BlitzTables progress screen, what the colours in the grid of sums mean, and when the app counts a sum as one your child really knows.
For parents
- The test at schoolEnter the times-tables test from school, so BlitzTables practises right towards it. With a countdown, a reminder beforehand, and a link for the whole class.
- Free and ProWhat the free plan includes and what Pro adds, what it costs, where to find the subscription, and how to restore or cancel a purchase.
- Privacy and taking your data with youWhat BlitzTables does with your child’s data, and how to move every profile and the practice history to another device with a single file.
- All the settingsWhere to find the BlitzTables settings and what each one does: per child the school, language, sound and vibration, and for the whole device.
