The test at school
Does your child have a times-tables test at school? Fill in what the teacher tests, and the app practises towards it and counts down to the day itself.

Where to fill it in
Each child has their own test at school.
- Tap Progress at the bottom, and then the gear icon in the top right.
- Under Per child, tap your child.
- Tap the Test at school row. If nothing has been entered yet, it says "Not set yet".
What to fill in

| Name of the test | Just for you, so you recognise it |
Then tap Save. If you ask for more sums than those tables contain, the app tells you some will come round more than once.
What your child sees
As soon as a test is set, a card appears on your child’s home screen. It shows how many days are left, how many of the test’s sums have already stuck, and which table still goes wrong most often. With Practise for my test, your child practises exactly the sums from that test.
A reminder beforehand
If you’ve filled in a date, the app sends a notification 3 days and 1 day beforehand, at 5 pm. That notification says which table could still use some practice.
Sharing the test with the class
You can share the test with other parents, so their child practises for the same test:
- On the test screen, tap For a grown-up.
- Press and hold the button for three seconds.
- Under Share this test, tap Share test and choose where the link goes.
No name goes with it. Only the tables, the number of sums, the time and the date.
Whoever opens the link sees which test it is and taps Open in BlitzTables. The app then asks Who is this test for?, and with Set up it’s ready in one tap.
Free or Pro
Practising for the test works on the free plan. Only earning a diploma for the test at school is part of Pro.
Removing a test
Has the test been, or is it no longer right? Open the Test at school row and tap Delete test.
